My attempt at some sort of cooking (baking, really) and trying to be more health-conscious.
Made the cupcake batter from scratch with whole wheat flour, soy milk, baking powder, baking soda, egg, vanilla extract, salt, butter, and veg. oil. Frostings: 2 cans – one low-sugar chocolate; one vanilla. Used the vanilla one with food coloring for the red and blue rings. Yellow and green rings are actually covered in vanilla frosting and tipped with colored sugar crystals.
Had to throw out all the red ones b/c they tasted toxic. >_< I was too tired to decorate them with toppings after I iced them b/c I’d burned my fingers on the cupcake pan the night before. 😛
